This breakout session was given at the 2014 Annual Conference “The Gospel and Mental Illness.”

Heath serves as the Executive Director of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). He also serves as the Associate Professor of Biblical Counseling at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is the Program Director of Biblical Counseling at the undergraduate institution, Boyce College. He has been teaching at Southern since 2006. Dr. Lambert is a frequent conference speaker and is the author or editor of several books including The Biblical Counseling Movement After Adams (Crossway, 2011), Counseling the Hard Cases: True Stories Illustrating the Sufficiency of God’s Resources in Scripture (B&H, 2012), and Finally Free: Fighting for Purity with the Power of Grace (Zondervan, 2013). Heath is thrilled to be married to Lauren, and loves life with their three children Carson, Chloe, and Conner.
